Nairobi Stress Management Workshop Objectives

The objectives of our Nairobi Stress Management Workshops include:
1. To teach the participants how to manage workplace stress and personal stress with medically proven relaxation techniques so that they can reduce the negative effects of stress on their health and job performance.

2. To teach the participants how to manage workplace stress and personal stress with principles from the Bible.

Stress Management Workshop Benefits

Participants of our stress management workshops will receive the following benefits:
1. Understanding what stress is.

2. Understanding the causes of personal stress and the causes of workplace stress.

3. Being able to identify when they are stressed by learning the signs, symptoms and effects of stress on the body.

4. Learning how to switch off the body’s response to stress.

5. Learning medically proven relaxation techniques.

6. Learning stress management principles from the Bible.

7. Learning other strategies to manage workplace stress and personal stress like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), nutrition and exercise.

Stress Management Workshop Facilitator

Our workshops are conducted by Dr. Miriam Kinai who received her Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Nairobi and her Clinical Training in Mind Body Medicine from Harvard Medical School.

She is also the author of Rules of Relaxation and Managing Stress with the Word of God.

The target groups for our stress management workshops include:
1. Individuals who want to learn how to manage personal stress and workplace stress effectively.

2. Companies, colleges, churches, chamas other groups which want to learn how to manage workplace stress and personal stress effectively.

3. HR managers and other persons in management positions.

Training Method

An interactive workshop with participants given the opportunity to practice stress management techniques and ask questions.

Certification

A certificate of participation in stress management training will be issued upon successfully satisfying the course objectives.

We offer in-house training for companies, colleges, churches, chamas and other groups which want training at their facilities.

We also offer training for groups in hotels and social halls.

Cost

Ksh 10,000 per participant

The cost covers tuition, handouts, certificate of participation and relaxing gift bag that includes a stress management book, a stress management product and other stress management items.
